Brunei Darussalam and Saudi Arabia have enjoyed a close and long-standing friendship, and it is hoped that such relation can be further strengthened in the future.
Yang BerhormatDato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji MohdDaud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office expressed the hope at the Ground Breaking Ceremony for Saudi Arabia's new embassy and residence. The function took place yesterday morning at JalanKebangsaan.
Mr. Hussain Mohammed Al-Dajani, Charge D' Affaires at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam, in his speech said that the new buildings will have a modern design, and will further strengthen the relations and cooperation between both countries.
Also present was HajahDayangSitiNorishanbinti Haji Awang Abdul Ghafor, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as several foreign envoys to the country.
