For the safety of children, parents and staff at the childcare centres, the guidelines and other Standard Operating Procedures remained the same.
Yang Berhormat added, these include installation of HEPA Filter; use of partial PPE for staff; children to wear face mask and activities are restricted to child care only. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through JAPEM will continue to monitor the centres in adhering to the set SOPs. As of yesterday, 247 children have been registered at the Childcare Centres nationwide. Out of 46 registered centres, 25 childcare centres are currently operating. Monitoring on the childcare centres found that the ART results were all negative.
