The Guidelines Workshop for this year’s ASEAN Halal food was represented by the Syariah Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. The workshop was held via Special Video Conference and was chaired by the Republic of the Philippines.
The workshop held for the first time was joined by officers from the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism as well as Brunei Darussalam Food Authority. The workshop aimed to review the draft Guidelines for ASEAN Halal Food in detail, which was one of the agenda of the 18th ASEAN Working Group Meeting on Halal Food.
