The Haj Management Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Haj Guidance Section held haj courses in all districts starting today. The course is a yearly activity organized by the Haj Management Department.
For the Brunei Muara District, the course is held at the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College and Pengiran Anak Puteri Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah Religious School. Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Dato Seri Setia Haji Abd. Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Awang Haji Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Deputy permanent Secretary for Policy and Religious at the Ministry of Religious Affairs took a closer look at the courses conducted in the Brunei Muara District.
In the Tutong District, the course is held at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Norain Religious School. The course is divided into 12 sessions and will be held until the 13th of May. It is hoped to help intending pilgrims to learn and enhance their understanding in performing the haj course in a proper manner.
The Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Religious School in Kuala Belait and Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Religious School in Seria Town are the course centers for Belait District. 100 intending pilgrims attended the first day of the course. They are individuals who have registered and are selected to perform the haj this year.
In the Temburong District, the course is held at the Temburong Arabic School. Twenty intending pilgrims are selected to perform the haj this year. During the course, intending pilgrims are given explanations on several important aspects that should be observed in relation to the Haj.
