Hari Raya Aidilfitri Ceremony Strengthens Diplomatic and Citizen Bonds in Brunei

Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, along with Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, graced the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Audience and Junjung Ziarah ceremony. The event, attended by state dignitaries and diplomats from friendly nations, took place at Istana Nurul Iman on the morning of March 21st.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony witnessed the presence of several royal family members, including His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah. Other royal attendees included His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen, and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, among others, along with their respective spouses.

Also participating in the ceremony were His Majesty's guests, which included Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Council, Deputy Ministers, diplomats from friendly nations, Permanent Secretaries, and senior government officers with their spouses. The event served as a platform to reinforce the bonds between the monarch and the citizens of Brunei, while also fostering diplomatic ties with other nations.
