Hayya Ilal ‘Arabiyyah Programme Enhances Arabic Skills Among Students

Bandar seri begawan: With the theme “Akhlak Mahkota Ulama: Meneladani Mereka, Meningkatkan Martabat Diri”, the Hayya Ilal ‘Arabiyyah or Let’s Speak Arabic Program was organized to enhance skills and strengthen the culture of speaking Arabic among students of Arabic schools. Held at Sekolah Tinggi Arab Hassanal Bolkiah, the program took place on the morning of November 15th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the program was inaugurated by Awang Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Acting Director of the Islamic Da’wah Centre. It began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah, and Doa Selamat. The event featured performances and visits to various activity booths, marking a significant effort by the Department of Islamic Studies through Arabic schools to bolster students’ mastery of the Arabic language.

The program served as a practical platform for students to apply Arabic in a range of co-curricular activities that are both engaging and educational. This initiative aims to provide students with the opportunity to practice and improve their linguistic skills in an interactive setting, further solidifying their understanding and use of the Arabic language.
