Hijrah Walk 4.0 Celebrates Islamic Values and Community Spirit

Sengkurong: A special Ilal Hijrah talk titled "Kelebihan Bulan Muharram" was among the highlights of the Hijrah Walk 4.0, organised by Syababul Iman Mosque Youth and the Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque Takmir Committee. Held in conjunction with the Hijrah New Year, the event aimed to enliven the spirit of hijrah within the community, particularly the young generation, through a healthy and relaxed approach based in Islamic values. It took place early this morning at the mosque.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event saw the participation of Awang Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The special talk was delivered by Awang Muhd Fuad bin Matahir, an Assistant Lecturer from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University.

Contributing to the community spirit, the event included a five-kilometre walk that began from the mosque, engaging attendees in a physical activity that complemented the educational aspect of the gathering. The Hijrah Walk 4.0 served as a platform for promoting Islamic teachings and fostering a sense of togetherness among participants.
