Hijrah Walkathon Celebrates Spiritual Journey ‘Minal Masjid Ilal Masjid’

Kampung rimba: Hijrah, traditionally understood as moving from one place to another, was given a modern interpretation during the Hijrah Walkathon event, 'Minal Masjid Ilal Masjid.' This event emphasized the concept of leaving behind actions that are forbidden by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. Held in conjunction with Ilal Hijrah 1448, the programme was organized by the Mukim Gadong 'A' Consultative Council in collaboration with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Mosque, Kampung Rimba, and the Pengiran Muda Abdul Malik Mosque, Kampung Tungku.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event took place at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Mosque, Kampung Rimba, on the morning of June 17th. The Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer, Pengiran Mohammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, was among those present at the event. The programme featured a talk titled 'Hijrah: Bukan Sekadar Berpindah Tetapi Berubah,' delivered by Awang Mohammad Shahmie bin Mohammad Sani. The event culminated in a 2.9-kilometre walk that began at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Mosque, Kampung Rimba, and concluded at the Pengiran Muda Abdul Malik Mosque, Kampung Tungku.
