His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday left Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt after concluding a state visit to the Republic.
Prior to departure from the hotel, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr.) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
Present at the Cairo International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were His Excellency Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources, as Head of Mission of Honour and the Minister-in-Attendance; and His Excellency Pengiran Haji Mustapa bin Pengiran Haji Aliuddin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Arab Republic of Egypt. Also present were officers from Brunei Darussalam's Embassy in Egypt.
