His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Darussalam, in a titah emphasises that the National Service Programme (PKBN) trainees should be equipped with strong values in both the physical and spiritual aspects so they can be relied upon to face any obstacle or challenge. The Monarch adds such values are the important foundation in the development of excellent human capital. His Majesty delivered the titah at the Passing Out Parade of the 7th Intake of the National Service Programme PKBN yesterday morning. In the titah His Majesty also highlights that a country's progress is often linked to the development of human capital because human capital is the core of any effort to accomplish transformation towards change. Hence, this is the moment, adds His Majesty, for the country to focus on the development of excellent human capital. One such method is through the PKBN, especially with regard to young human capital because youths are the pillar of the race and the nation.
