Brunei Darussalam celebrates AidilAdha or the Feast of Sacrifice today. His Majesty Sultan Haji HassanalBolkiahMu'izzaddinWaddaulahibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali SaifuddienSa'adulKhairiWaddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in the Titah in conjunction with Hari Raya AidilAdha 1439 Hijrah / 2018, emphasises the greatness of the concept of Sacrifice.
Hence, His Majesty also calls the country's citizens and residents to uphold the concept in all aspects of life in this world and in the Hereafter. In the Titah, His Majesty says we make sacrifice for the country with our wealth, time, sweat or energy, while sacrifice for the afterlife is through performing religious obligations and deeds in the name of Allah the Almighty. The Titah was broadcast to the nation by Radio Television Brunei earlier this evening. Touching on AidilAdha, the Monarch adds the event provides at least two lessons, the first is on the concept of Oneness or identity, and the second one is on Sacrifice.
