His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah highlights the need to strengthen the practise of the Malay Islamic Monarchy Concept, MIB and that the concept should never be disputed. His Majesty states, to be a leader, never practise any other ideology or system other than the MIB.
To be a good leader, adds His Majesty, one must hold strongly to the MIB principles and do not be a power obsessed leader who does anything for personal interest more than for the interest of the country. His Majesty sternly states Brunei Darussalam must be free from all negative elements and not tainted by bad ones, including dishonesty and falsehood. The Monarch delivered the titah at the Cabinet Ministers Special Meeting at Istana Nurul Iman this morning. In the titah, His Majesty hopes the cabinet team and relevant officers should carry out their responsibilities in a better way without bringing problems which are illogical and affect the administration of His Majesty's government.
