The State Mufti added that Hari Raya is a day to glorify Allah SubahanahuWataala and increase in gaining rewards, and not running away from them.
Meanwhile in the second sermon, the State Mufti touched on increasing the zikir or remembrance of Allah SubahanahuWataala. The State Mufti added in the era of the First Caliph Uthman bin AfanRadiallahu, the Muslim ummah were powerful and owned many islands. However their wealth were taken away by the enemy because of their negligence and failure to remember Allah the Almighty at all times. What happened to the Muslims of that era was a valuable lesson to reflect upon.
