Jerudong: His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam embarked on a significant visit to several educational and technological institutions following the Presentation of House Keys ceremony. The visit commenced at Jerudong Primary School, where His Majesty was warmly received by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, the Minister of Education. A key feature of this visit was the Ar-Rahmah Room, an initiative designed to support students with special needs.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty's next stop was Jerudong Religious School, catering to over 290 students across morning and afternoon sessions. The school visit highlighted His Majesty's continued dedication to educational development in the region.
The itinerary concluded with a visit to EVYD Technology Sendirian Berhad in Kampung Jerudong. His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the Second Minister of Finance, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health. E-VID Technology Sendirian Berhad, established in 2020, is a pivotal partner with the Ministry of Health, focusing on managing public health data, predicting disease risks, and enhancing community health programs nationwide, all aimed at reinforcing the healthcare sector through advanced public health surveillance and decision-making processes.
