Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, attended the Fencing Competition at Boulevard 01C, where he watched Brunei’s national athlete compete.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by His Excellency Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Saudi Arabia. During the event, His Royal Highness offered words of advice and encouragement to the national fencing athlete. In the Women’s Individual Sabre event, Dayang Hajah Anis Sabrina binti Haji Yahya was defeated 8-15 by Nil Gungor from Turkiye in the round of 16.
