The Brunei History Centre through the Service and Exhibition Division and the Library and Learning Division in collaboration with History SBC.BN comprising history teachers in the country, yesterday afternoon organised the ‘Bicara Sejarah: Evolusi Pentadbiran Negara Brunei Darussalam dari Perspektif Sejarah” or History Talk: The Evolution of Brunei Darussalam Administration from a Historical Perspective. The talk session took place at the centre.
Doctor Awang Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Principal of Brunei History Centre among others said that the sharing of historical information through the process of socialisation in education, is indeed a step that is greatly appreciated and praised in further strengthening the practice and appreciation of Bruneian values based on Malay Islamic Monarchy philosophy.
Almost 60 people participated in the session comprising education officers and history teachers nationwide. The talk session included lectures delivered by two speakers with the experience in researching the history of the traditional Brunei administration. The session aimed to increase the confidence of history teachers when conveying facts to students and upgrade the quality of history teachers.
