Kuala lumpur: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah, emphasizes the significant impact that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had on the management of the education ecosystem. His Majesty points out that an over-reliance on AI could potentially hinder the development of essential skills such as critical thinking and creativity. The Monarch made these remarks during the Get-Together Ceremony with Students, Citizens, and Residents of Brunei Darussalam in Malaysia.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Sultan began the titah by expressing his gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala, acknowledging that it is by His grace that His Majesty could meet with the citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who are currently in Malaysia. This group included students, government officers working in Malaysia, and those on vacation with their families.
