Tutong: The Islamic Da'wah Centre's Tutong District Da'wah Branch Office organized the Iftar Mahabbah Programme in conjunction with Ramadhan at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong Town, on the late afternoon of 14th March. The event aimed to foster unity and understanding among different communities in the district.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme was attended by 50 individuals, including members of the Tiong Hua Community Association and non-Muslim communities within the Tutong District. Awang Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abd Rahman, Acting Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre, was present at the event, which featured interactive activities such as practical demonstrations of ablution, prayer, and calligraphy.
The organizers expressed hope that the participants would gain a deeper understanding of Ramadhan, a month that underscores the values of gratitude, simplicity, charity, and unity. By engaging in these activities, the programme aimed to highlight the importance of these values and encourage a spirit of togetherness among the diverse communities in the area.
