The Ihya Syabab Al-Wathan Programme organised by Students Association of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan, KUPU SB, began yesterday with a religious talk titled Ramadhan, the month of Al-Quran.
The talk delivered by Awang Hilman bin Haji Salim, Director of Fiqh Al-Usrah Research Centre at KUPU SB among others highlighted the benefits of Al-Quran reading as the main ibadah or act of worship in the holy month. Among the act of worships encouraged during this month, apart from Al-Quran reading, included tilawah, khatam and enhancing one’s memorisation. The programme was held at Surau KUPU SB.
