Implementation of Capacity Development Programme

The Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence in explaining the third priority which is the development of dynamic, proactive and innovative human capital, the Prime Minister’s Office and the departments under it will continue to implement capacity development programmes. Among them, the Public Service Framework which will continue to focus on strengthening public services and the Public Service Capacity Development Framework to measure their capabilities or abilities. For the Public Service Development Programme to the Republic of Singapore, it provides opportunities for outstanding public service officers to be placed in government agencies or government-related agencies in the Republic of Singapore for a certain period according to the appropriate field.

Yang Berhormat Pehin added that the cooperation is expected to bring benefits in terms of exchange of ideas, experiential learning and best practices, increasing knowledge, building a network of cooperation and to further strengthen the good long-standing relationship between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore. The Minister hopes that the participants involved will be able to contribute to the improvement of the quality of service delivery to the public through improvements to work processes in the function of public service organizations upon returning to the country.
