Arcades and indoor playgrounds are now back in operation since its closure on the 16th of March at a 30 per cent capacity from the normal capacity at one time. RTB crew took a closer look at the de-escalation Operational Readiness Level 1 for arcades and indoor playgrounds in the capital.
The implementation of the de-escalation Operational Readiness Level 1 at several premises is based on the stipulated regulations and guideline. During interview, premise owners said they highly prioritise safety measures including conducting temperature checks, QR code scanning prior to entering the premise and provide hand sanitizers to visitors.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health reminds the public to abide by all regulations and directives issued. Failure to comply with the instructions given is an offence under the Infectious Diseases Act, Chapter 204 and if found guilty, offenders may be fined to up to $10,000 or imprisonment for up to 6 months or both.
