The number country's youths who bravely come forward to venture in business and entrepreneurship are ever increasing. Not only that, they are able to offer products through various current facilities or platforms, aside from benefitting from the stalls provided by the government. The titah by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in conjunction with the monarch's 71st birthday celebration last Saturday, was well-received by the people including Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Wahab bin Apong, member of the Legislative Council, who is also the Penghulu of Mukim Tanjong Maya, Tutong, in an interview during the Get-Together and Junjung Ziarah Ceremony in the Tutong District yesterday.
Yang Berhormat said as a grassroots leader, he has seen that the country's youth has moved forward and realised the importance of their involvement in entrepreneurship. The government has relentlessly assisted youths with programmes such as i-Ready and entrepreneurship training centres which is hoped to enhance the country's gross domestic product in the future.
