Induction Programme Opening Ceremony

Facing an ever challenging digital world and wave of globalisation has created a new direction for the education system. In this regard, teachers must strengthen and enhance their knowledge as well as pedagogy skills of the 21st century.

The Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education stated the matter at the opening ceremony of the New Teaching Staff Induction Programme yesterday morning. In his speech, Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman said teachers play a vital role in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The Induction Programme is the Ministry of Education’s initiative though the Educator Management Department to highlight important aspects in the career as a teaching staff and civil servants in the said ministry. 120 teaching staff are taking part in the programme which will end on the 6th of March 2023. The function took place at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.
