19 units of weighing machines failed to comply with the Weights and Measures Act, 1983 Chapter 151. The discovery was made during inspections conducted by the Weights and Measures Unit, Industry and Business Ecosystem Division under Ministry of Finance and Economy at Pasar Tani Kampong Selayun and Gadong Market.
The owners of the equipment have been issued with a notice and are required to register the said equipment used for trade within three working days at the nearest Weights and Measures Unit office.
