IPTA & IBTE Learning Mode Depend On the Need of Their Respective Programmes

Students who wish to proceed their study overseas or return to their educational institutions abroad are required to fill in the guidelines and application form to return to their educational institutions abroad and declaration form. Touching on the implementation of Level 4 Learning mode for public higher education institutions, IPTA, and Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE, the Minister of Education stated that it depends on the need of the current programmes. IPTA and IBTE are given the flexibility to decide appropriate learning methods for students including to continue the online learning and teaching.

Meanwhile, job placement and study visits in the country are allowed, depending on the Risk Assessment Report and approval from IPTA and IBTE management. The Study Abroad programme is not allowed as citizens and residents in Brunei Darussalam are not permitted to travel abroad and as advised by the Ministry of Health. New students who wish to further their study abroad or return to their educational institutions abroad are required to fill in the guidelines and two forms issued by the ministry.
