Members of the civil service should have proper Iman or faith because Iman brings out honesty in work. The matter was highlighted in a talk in conjunction with Isra' Mi'raj celebration organised by the Ministry of Health. The event was conducted by the Ministry's Health Care Technology Department and Policy and Planning Department.
Titled 'Tingkatkan Darjat Di Sisi Allah Semasa Berkerja' or 'Enhance One's Status Besides Allah While Working' was delivered by Doctor Andas Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah, a Lecturer from the Islamic Da'wah Centre. The talk stressed civil service employees should work with honesty and responsibility because every job is a trust given by Allah the Almighty. He added being honest and responsible leads to excellence and progress in the services which in turn will make the country secure and prosperous. The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Doctor Haji Mohd Isham bin Jaafar, the Minister of Health. Also present were Awang Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Awang Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, the Ministry's Deputy Permanent Secretary.
