The efficacy of the Public Service Commission Computerized Assessment Management System, PSC CAMS was among the matters raised during the council. PSC-CAMS, a new computerised written test was introduced in November 2017. While explaining on the matter, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office also highlighted on the provision of SPA Centre in other districts.
According to Yang Berhormat, since the PSC CAMS was utilised for 4 month since its implementation, the computerised written test sessions are only administered at the Public Service Commission or SPA building to monitor the system's stability and efficacy, before it is being extended to other locations if needed. Previously, the Public Service Commission provided the advisory services counter with equipments at each district office except in the Brunei Muara district to facilitate the candidate's job application process with the Public Service Commission. However, such service was discontinued due to the lack of response from applicants as they prefer to go directly to the Public Service Commission in the capital.
