Members of the public who are seeking job opportunities will now have the opportunity to obtain information related to job opportunities through the JobCentre Brunei, JCB Roadshow that is ongoing until the 8th of November at the The Mall, Gadong.
The roadshow received positive and encouraging response from the public especially among job seekers. The roadshow is open to the public from 11 in the morning to 9 in the evening.
Over 2 thousand vacancies are showcased including i-Ready vacancies in the private sector as well as JCB's services in assisting local jobseekers in securing jobs. During the roadshow, the public will be able to access and get information on JCB's services, including registration into the JCB portal as well as the i-Ready Apprenticeship Programme and job matching services.
For job seekers who have not registered into the JCB portal, they are recommended to bring their CVs and relevant documents such as academic certificates for the registration process. During the roadshow, the Manpower Planning and Employment Council, MPEC Secretariat will also share their ongoing initiatives, programmes and key information as well as updates on the latest available and in demand jobs for the next 5 years. This includes information on the SkillsPlus Programme and the Continuing Education Program programmes under MPEC.
In adherence to the COVID-19 preventative measures set by the Ministry of Health, visitors are reminded to practice social distancing and to scan the BruHealth QR Code prior to entering the premise.
