Jakarta: The Mukim and Village Consultative Council for Mukim Berakas ‘B’ organized a joint cleaning campaign at the Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Mosque on the morning of December 7th. This initiative aimed to foster community spirit and environmental consciousness among the village residents.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the campaign was launched under the slogan ‘Mukim Bersih, Akal Sihat, Masyarakat Harmoni Bermuafakat.’ The event was inaugurated by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, a Member of the Legislative Council. Residents of the village participated actively in cleaning the mosque’s surroundings, demonstrating collective effort and community engagement.
In addition to the cleaning activities, the event featured a donation presentation ceremony, further highlighting the spirit of cooperation and support within the community. The joint cleaning campaign underscored the importance of maintaining a clean environment as a foundation for a healthy and harmonious society.
