Three drivers were compounded in a joint operation roadblock conducted recently at the Jalan Lumut by Pass heading to Tutong and Seria.
The operation carried out by the Royal Brunei Police Force, comprised the Belait Police District Headquarters, Sungai Liang Police Station, Labi Police Station, Batu 3 Investigation and Road Traffic Control Department as well as the Royal Customs and Excise Department. As a result of the operation, 3 drivers were issued compound fines for the offence of not possessing a valid driving license and installing car window tints. Two other offences were found under Section 146 1 D of the Excise Order 2006.
