Holding a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony was the former residents of the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien College, SOAS Hostel in short EHBG. The ceremony ran concurrently with breaking of the fast and was held at Pengiran Muda Abdul Malek Mosque in Kampung Tungku Katok.
At the ceremony, the mosque received an endowment of mosque necessities presented by Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Lahap, Member of the Advisory Board of EHBG. More than 150 former residents of the hostel attended the ceremony. The Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony is an annual event held since 2016.
