Participating in the home stay programme in the country became one of the sweet memories for the 9th Brunei Darussalam and Republic of Korea Bilateral Youth Exchange Programme participants. Some of the participants were interested to come again to the country to enjoy the peaceful and harmonious life.
The delegation from the Republic of Korea shared their experiences throughout the 8-day programme in the country. The sharing session was held with the Korean Cultural Club of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD, 26th August.
The active participation of youth in community activities helps in spurring the country's development as the youths are the country's asset and future leaders. Some participants from the Republic of Korea highlighted several vital qualities that can contribute towards the country's progress.
A representative from the UBD's Korean Cultural Club explained the main objective of the establishment of the club which was to educate the UBD students on the diversity of Korean culture through dance and music. The sharing session was enlivened with the Korean Traditional Self Defence performance namely Taekwondo.
