Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna binti Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Ambassador At-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Last Night consented to officiate the Kuwait Culture and Arts Week. The event was held at the Airport Mall in Berakas.
Among those present were Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. In his welcoming remarks, His Excellency, Doctor Fahad Mashary Al-Thafiri (ATH-THAFIRI), the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Brunei Darussalam among other things touched on the establishment of bilateral relations between the two countries. His Excellency also said it is a wonderful opportunity for the State of Kuwait and Brunei Darussalam to build solid bridges of cultural cooperation and promote people-to-people exchange.
Her Royal Highness then consented to officiate the Kuwait Cultural and Arts Week. The exhibition showcases the art, culture and heritage of Kuwait and is open until the 17th of this month. The event was concluded with performances of Kuwaiti traditional dance and musical. Also present was Datin Paduka Dr. Hajah Norlila Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
