The Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA remains proactive in implementing new initiatives to assist the graduates in becoming a force that can help develop the nation's economy to a sustainable level, and make the Wawasan Brunei 2035 a realisation. This was stated by the Dean of Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance, UNISSA at the launching of UNISSA's Entrepreneurship Day 2018 yesterday morning.
The event was launched Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, the Rector of UNISSA. Earlier, Doctor Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani as the Chairman of UNISSA Entrepreneurship Day 2018, explained that the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance, UNISSA is making continuous efforts to instil an entrepreneurial mindset among the student. The Entrepreneurship Day does not solely focus on sales and were highlighted with several educational activities related to entrepreneurship such as general lecture on Islamic Finance, sharing sessions with local entrepreneurs and working paper presentations. Over 60 entrepreneurs are participating in the event, which is open to the public until the 8th of April from 8 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. Such event is hoped to help realise His Majesty's Government desire to produce 'job creator' graduates.
