Expanding cooperation between local and foreign companies in marketing their products will help to boost the country's economic growth. A local company and a Malaysian firm launched a joint venture at Dewan Muhibbah in Berakas yesterday.
The venture is an effort to ensure Muslims have access to goods that not only possess the Halal logo and certificate, but most importantly are produced according Shari'ah requirements. At yesterday's event, Syarikat Hjh Halimatul Saadiah, a local company and Malaysia's Hijrah Water Sendirian Berhad collaborated in introducing the Hijrah Brand Water Filtering Machine. The launch was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Ali bin Pengiran Maon, Member of the Legislative Council. Also present was Awang Misle bin Hj Abdul Karim, the Acting Brunei Muara District Officer.
