Youth Centre's 'Shared Kitchen' has recently been revamped to offer local food and beverages businesses with an affordable commercial space to prepare their products. The Youth and Sports Department collaborated with Darussalam Enterprise, DARe last year to bring the kitchen up to commercial and safety standards, with Agribiz Group appointed to operate the facility for micro, small and medium enterprises.
The 'Shared Kitchen' was jointly-launched by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and Mr Javed Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of Darussalam Enterprise, DARe.
Shared Kitchen aims to provide assistance to individuals who wish to establish a food-related business. It also act as a commercial facility that can accommodate multiple tenants and is dedicated to growing early-stage wholesale, retail and catering food businesses.
