The Surah Al-Fatihah and Lazim Verses Memorisation Competition was held last night at the festive stage in conjunction with the Royal Birthday Celebration. It was held at the Jalan Bendahara Parking area in front of Royal Regalia Museum in the capital.
15 participants aged between 7 to 12 took part in the competition organised by Jamaatul Asirah. Present was Awang Haji Muhammad bin Haji Mohd Yassin, Chairman of the Association of Former Government Employees, PEKIRA. The competition was judged based on Tajwid, memorisation, melody and Fluency.
