To enliven the Brunei December Festival 2021, the Brunei History Centre in collaboration with BIBD Advocating Life-Long Learning for Aspiring Future, BIBD ALAF held virtual learning activities. The two-day event which started yesterday, exposes youths and the younger generation to the history of the nation.
25 students along with 5 officers from BIBD ALAF participated in the activity which began with a briefing on the functions and roles of the Brunei History Centre, presented by Awang Muhammad Syahmi bin Halimshah, Senior Historical Officer. Apart from the briefing, the students had the opportunity to visit virtually the exhibition galleries and the location of the Tombs of the Sultanate of Brunei. Today, the activities continue with briefings and activities from the PenBorneo Division and briefings as well as Genealogy Activities from the Research and Documentation Division.
