Literacy Certificates Awarded to Youth Participants in Tutong District

Bandar seri begawan: The Information Literacy Program for youth in Tutong District concluded its activities on the afternoon of June 27, marking the end of a significant educational initiative. During the Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation held at the Information Department, 39 participants were recognized for their involvement and achievements.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the participants included undergraduates from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, Sinaut Campus; Universiti Teknologi Brunei; Al-Azhar University, Egypt; as well as students from Politeknik Brunei, Lumut Campus; Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College and Laksamana College of Business. The event celebrated the efforts of these young individuals in enhancing their information literacy.

Certificates were presented by Dayang Siti Bismi Nuruliman binti Awang Haji Emzah, who currently serves as the Acting Director of Information. The program was designed to bolster the dissemination of official government information among the youth. It also aimed to enhance participants' understanding of government policy and foster self-development and identity as citizens of Brunei Darussalam.
