Bandar seri begawan: The Language and Literature Bureau: The Language and Literature Bureau, through its Literature and Magazine Division, organized the Literary Critique Mentoring Programme Appreciation Ceremony 2025 on the morning of December 4th. The ceremony served as a token of appreciation for the mentors and mentees who successfully participated in the critique guidance series.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme provides a platform to identify new writers and critics, aiming to ensure the continuity of literary heritage over time. The collaboration between experienced mentors and the availability of a workspace is intended to foster the development of a new generation of skilled and innovative literary critics. Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau, was present at the event.
The programme’s achievement report highlighted the positive outcomes of the initiative, demonstrating alignment with its objectives. Notable improvements were observed in the mentees’ writing and critical thinking skills.
