Temburong District made a name for itself when a 221.43 meter long ‘kelupis’ was recorded as the Longest ‘Jalinan Kelupis’ made in the country and at the same time realizing the target to be included in the Brunei Record Book.
7,676 kelupis was made in a collaboration with youths and entrepreneurs in Temburong District. The making of the longest Jalinan Kelupis included the process of boiling, wrapping and steaming. The preparation was made voluntarily in a group using 100 percent natural ingredients.
