Bandar seri begawan: Water supply in most parts of Mukim Mentiri may experience disruptions on 30th June 2026. The Public Works Department announced the disruption is due to generator set maintenance works for Mengkubau Water Treatment Plant. The works, which will start from 9 at night until completion, may affect several areas. According to Radio Television Brunei, among the affected areas are Mengkubau SR Tank Catchment Area, Batu 12 Tank Catchment Area, Batu 15 Tank Catchment Area, Sungai Buloh Tank Catchment Area, Panchor Mengkubau A, B, and D National Housing Scheme Catchment Area, and Mentiri National Housing Scheme Catchment Area. Blue tank locations are also provided. Meanwhile, water supply in several areas in Mukim Pekan Tutong, Mukim Keriam, Mukim Tanjong Maya (Kampung Lubok Pulau), and the surrounding areas will also be affected. This is due to the cleaning works of Bukit Ambok Water Tank from 8:30 in the morning for the 1st tank and for the 2nd tank, the works will be carried out on the 1st of July. Water supply to the entire Jalan Chempaka and its surrounding areas will also be affected on 30th June, from 9 in the morning, due to cleaning works on Chempaka water tank.
