Brunei Gas Carriers, BGC had achieved several key milestones. This includes the promotion to rank of BGC Ship Officers, contract signing for new BGC Scholar, the launch of BGC’s new Bridge Simulator Training Centre, and a showcase of BGC’s Digitalisation initiatives. To celebrate said achievements, BGC held a Maritime Talent Pipeline Achievements Ceremony yesterday morning at its headquarters.
Present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications as Chairman of the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam Board. The key milestones were proof of BGC’s commitment to the development of Bruneian seafarers and support for the growth of local talent in the Brunei maritime industry.
