‘Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat’ Programme Highlights Teacher’s Role in Moral and Faith Development

Bandar seri begawan: The ‘Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat’ Programme, held at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, focused on the essential role of teachers as heirs of the prophets, emphasizing their responsibility beyond imparting knowledge to shaping faith, morals, and noble values in students. This theme was highlighted in the ‘Tazkirah Subuh’ or dawn talk session during the event.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the talk, titled “Guru Pemangkin Pendidikan Lestari dan Inovasi,” stressed the importance of sustainable education in fostering a knowledgeable, moral, and responsible generation. The approach aims to provide long-term benefits, promoting continuous learning and ethical development. The programme also sought to encourage Muslims to consistently glorify the mosque and strengthen their spiritual practices.
