Among them is cleansing oneself from sins, Making the poor happy, multiplying good deeds, welcoming blessings on assets and broadening sustenance as well as eradicating sins. This was among the matters stated in the Dawn Talk early yesterday morning in the "Masjidku Ma'mur, Negara Berkat" Programme at Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital.
Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof; Second Minister of Defence. Also present were Brigadier General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Retired Brigadier General Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma'awiah, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence as well as Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The talk entitled "Sedekah Penyuci Jiwa Pembersih Harta" delivered by Awang Muhammad Abdussalam bin Haji Jahari; Trained Religious Teacher at the Ministry of Defence. The "Masjidku Ma'mur, Negara Berkat" programme also provides opportunities for the visitors to the "Bandarku Ceria" event, to start their day by seeking blessings through participation in performing the mass fardu Subuh prayer. This week the programme was organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Defence with the support of the Prime Minister's Office.
