The 41st Annual Meeting of the Council of the ASEAN-Japan Centre was held recently via a video conference to discuss the proposal of re-formation of the AJC and the Work and Budget Programme for fiscal year 2022.
Representing the government of Brunei Darussalam at the meeting was Doctor Dayang Hajah May Fa’ezah binti Haji Ahmad Ariffin, Permanent Secretary for Economy at the Ministry of Finance And Economy. The meeting also noted the reformation of AJC was timely taking into account the developments that took place in ASEAN and Japan over the past 40 years including current developments in ASEAN. It is also expected to provide benefit to stakeholders especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in ASEAN and Japan. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Eugene Toh, Director of Global Markets, Enterprise Singapore.
