The Southeast Asian Muassasah Tawwafah is responsible for the safety and comfort of Haj pilgrims in Makkah, Arafah, Mina and Jeddah during the pilgrimage. A foundation appointed by the Ministry of Haj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, it serves Haj pilgrims from Southeast Asia as well as China, Japan and Korea. The Southeast Asian Muassasah Tawwafah also prepares the bus schedule and provides other services and infrastructure to the pilgrims in Arafah and Mina. The matter was discussed during a meeting between Awang Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad, Head of Brunei Darussalam Haj Management Office with Mohamed Amin Endragiri, Chairman of Southeast Asian Haj Pilgrims Muassasah Tawwafah at the organisation's new building at Khalidiah in Makkah.
The meeting discussed the Muassasah's preparations in providing services to the country's Haj pilgrims. Apart from that, both parties also discussed information related to the pilgrims for easier coordination and improved cooperation towards providing better services. Also in attendance was Doctor Yusof Jaha, Deputy Chairman of Southeast Asian Muassasah Tawwafah.
