His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, attended a Meeting with His Excellency Mohammad Abdul Hamid, President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and a State Banquet hosted by His Excellency the President on the occasion of His Majesty’s State Visit to Bangladesh. The ceremonies took place on 15th October night, at Bangabhaban, President’s Office. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
Upon arrival His Majesty was greeted by Mr. Sampad Barua, Secretary to the President and Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, Military Secretary to the Honourable President.
His Majesty together with the President and Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh proceeded to the Banquet Hall for the State Banquet. The State Banquet was enlivened with cultural performances to commemorate His Majesty’s State Visit. Before leaving Bangabhaban, His Majesty was bade farewell by the President and the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
