Over 200 micro, small and medium enterprises as well as One Village One Product (1K1P), Foreign Direct Investment companies, Government-linked companies, financial institutions and private companies will be participating in the MSME festival organised by Darussalam enterprise, DARe. The festival is Brunei Darussalam's biggest showcase of local products and services and will be held for four days from the 28th of this month at Bridex Hall, Jerudong.
According to DARE, the festival will showcase various local products and services including Food and Beverages, Health, Beauty and Cosmetics, Fashion and Textiles, Handicrafts and Household Items and ICT. Various activities will also be held including seminars and talks in collaboration with the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) unit under the Ministry of Energy, (Energy and Manpower) and Industry, to disseminate various government reforms that benefit local businesses in Brunei Darussalam. Apart from promoting entrepreneurial culture as well as raising awareness on programs and services provided by DARe and other relevant Government agencies, such an event is also hoped to provide a platform to market products and services offered by Brunei MSMEs and ultimately identify their potential to be further developed for export.
