Brunei Darussalam will celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice with Sunat Aidil Adha Prayer at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide starting 7:30 in the morning of 11th August. For Muslims who can afford to perform the Qurban or the Rites of Sacrifice, they are encouraged to do so after the Sunat Hari Raya Aidil Adha prayer and during Tasyriq days which are on the 11th, 12th and 13th Zulhijjah.
Meanwhile, the country's haj pilgrims joined millions of haj pilgrims from around the world in performing the Wuquf in Arafah which is the culmination of Haj. The wuquf was performed soon after the Zohor prayer today, the 9th of Zulhijjah, until before dawn or dawn prayer tomorrow, the 10th of Zulhijjah. After performing the Wuquf, the pilgrims will make a move to Mina to perform the ritual of stoning. Before reaching Mina, the pilgrims will stop at the Valley of Muzdalifah to collect pebbles for the ritual stoning of pillars.
